Please note:
Our water is spring water and it is very cold, once used the recovery time for heating will take much longer than you are accustomed to experiencing. Allow 45 minutes between baths/showers.

If it is very cold or snowing, wear an extra layer of clothing inside the Cottage. Although the Cottage is well insulated and all but two of the windows are dual-paned, the most you can expect is a 20 degree difference between the temperature of the out-of-doors and that of the interior.

The TV is not on cable, if you are lucky, you can count on receiving three stations.

There are six pretty good DVD's in the cabinet to entertain you and a video store one block up on the left side of Third Street .

Our water is great for drinking right out of the tap. It tests better than the requirements for bottled water.

Unless prearranged there is no daily housekeeping service provided. Fresh towels are provided after the fourth day of an extended stay, bed linens are changed once a week unless requested otherwise. With advance notice and an additional charge we can usually arrange for additional housekeeping services.

Caution: you will observe that our town site has many feral cats, they are essential to managing rodents. These cats are huge because they are very well cared for. Do not coax a cat into the cottage or feed them, they will become lazier than they already are and not do their job.
