Pear Pie

Ingredients:

1 pie crust
6 firm, peeled pears, cut into 3/4" cubes
1/2 stick butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
3 tbs. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Preheat oven 300°.

Mix the butter and sugar - add then the egg, flour, cinnamon, and vanilla.  Mix with pears and put in the unbaked pie crust.   Bake for one hour.  Test with a knife and serve with whipped cream.
