Coko Brown
Coko paints in oil, acrylic, watercolor and pastel. She paints on wood panels, canvas, paper, and guitars – as a musician she enjoys blending the two creative forms. Her subject matter includes landscapes, portraits and still lifes, painted in a variety of genres that include realism , impressionism, expressionism as well as abstraction.
Joe Garcia is one of the finest art painters in Julian and beyond. His work includes landscapes and wildlife. Often, he is featured at the Santa Ysabel Art Gallery. Anne Garcia is an accomplished fine art photographer whose work shows the beauty of the Julian natural world. Look for Anne's hand-woven garments in our gift shop.
Scrimshaw master, David Huls creates beautifully detailed wildlife and nautical designs on bone and wood, each telling a story. Visit his rustic studio on Highway 78.
Ilan-Lael Foundation
The Ilan-Lael Foundation is an arts education foundation celebrating nature and the aesthetic of the built environment for its ability to help us see ourselves and our world in new ways.
The Julian Art Guild is a large collection of Julian artists whose purpose is to stimulate artistic interests within Julian. A wide variety of artists include painters, photographers, sculptors and fiber artists.
This is Julian's premiere gallery featuring our finest artists. The gallery shows paintings of the beautiful land that surrounds this area. Other paintings display intimate portraits, architecture and wildlife. Pottery and sculpture are also exhibited.
Beryl Warnes works at the loom to create unique woven throws, shawls, hats, rugs and much more. Her studio and academy of hand weaving, open to the public, is located in Santa Ysabel. All are welcome to visit.
